5Beautiful Sound !
By Paul Fasang
I Have never heard Bach that emotional and beautiful in my life . Exspecially the Well-tempered Clavier is just astuonding . Fischer forms averey single piece of this “Bible for the piano” to a Masterwork . He has so many different colours that he uses in his interpretation , what really makes it very enjoyable . I have never heard a pianissimo like Fischers in the Prelude No. 22 in B flat minor, BWV 867 from th Well-temered Clavier . I must warn you , this is not a very historical way of playaing Bach , in fact it’s quite romantic , but I must say that I almost prefer it that way . If you want a historic recording , than stick to the harpsichord , becuase in my opinion it’s quite senseless in trying to play Bach Historic on a piano .

5To play, feel and think!
By Hiram Gomez Pardo

Edwin Fisher was one of the maximum exponents of a bygone pianism when the imagination, splendor and sense of phrasing were linked with the inner expression. Subjectivity in the performance was in this sense a sort of signature, that carved in relief a statement, you might agree or not.
